Benjamin Baluyot Fontanilla, age 86, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025. Eldest son of the late Juan and Teodula Fontanilla; beloved husband of the late Carmelita Fontanilla; loving father of Jennifer Marie Fontanilla; beloved grandfather of Abbigail and Francesca, and great-grandson Adrian. He graduated from the University of Santo Thomas in the Philippines. He immigrated to San Francisco and worked as an accountant at Bechtel and the State of California.
Friends may visit on Thursday, May 22 from 4pm-8:30PM at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City. A rosary will be held at 6pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23 at 11am at St. Gabriel's Church, 2559 40th Ave., San Francisco. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
