I was such a lucky kid to have Betty as "My Mother". Growing up with her was like having a big, fun sister. We were best friends. Mother's Day has been my favorite holliday for the past 25 years because my sister & I were able to share motherhood stories over lunch with her and laugh until we cried. I will miss her terribly, but feel fortunate to have had her in my life for 54 years. "To you Mom.....Cheers!"

I did not not know Betty personally; only through her daughter, Cris. Cris came into my family's life when she became a Special Education aide to my autistic son, Alexander, where she did an amazing job. Now I am lucky enough to work with her on a daily basis in the elementary school setting, and her son, Christopher is a great friend to my youngest son, Patrick. Cris is a shining example of the wonderful mother Betty was - her legacy lives on.

Betty, we love you and will miss you tremendously. 8 am mass at MHR will just not be the same without your vibrant spirit and energy. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Best, Janet Haire

There are no words I can write that appropriately express how I'm feeling. I will miss Betty very much but I am so grateful for having had her friendship. A devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and a genuine friend. My sincere condolences to Stan and the whole family.
