Bev passed from this life on November 24, 2024 at the age of 80 years. She was born and raised in San Francisco, where she attended Balboa High School. She met Roy, and they married in 1961. They moved to South San Francisco in 1965, where they raised their three daughters.
Bev was a wonderful cook. She loved doing arts and crafts, painting rocks, gardening, etc. She loved to read. She especially loved all her pets throughout the years and her current pets: Lucca, Bodie and Mac the Cat.
Bev loved the outdoors and especially loved and treasured the time spent with family and friends at the family cabin in Nevada City. That was her "Happy Place."
Loving mother of Lavonne (Mike) Madigan, Denise (Scott) Thompson, and Deborah Tamo; very proud grandma to Todd Joseph Herstedt (T.J.) and Chad Vincent Thompson, whom she absolutely adored. Survived by her best friend of 68 years, Joan Smith; Joan's daughters, Shelly Ham and Lori Herald, of which she was godmother of Lori.
Also survived by nieces, Elaine Vosti Dotseth and Cathy Dallara; and nephews, Randy Vosti and Ron Dallara.
Bev was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Roy J. Tamo.
She was dearly loved, will be deeply missed and always remembered.
At her request, there will be no memorial services.
