Not sure what to say?

One time when we played softball together. We went to field to practice. There is another team on the field already. So we challenge them to a game Bill led off with a double down the right field line. And I said it to the guys, I like this guy!

I have no words that could do justice to a friend we never got to spend much time with or let know how much we loved him (and Kopo, too). Our SF memories are etched in our hearts. What a special piece of our west coast history he was!! Sending love to Kopo and Myles! We are grateful for the irreverence and generosity of an incredible guy--a gift to humanity. xxxooo Ann & Peter
PS - Under "choose a relationship"... where is the option "all of the above"!!

One of my favorites from the Presidio GC. My partner through the NCGA 12-man ream playoffs and championship in 1993, and my conquest in the 1995 club championship. We played 36 holes that day, from the tips! Those were the days. Will miss you, toodles.

As fine a man as he was a golfer, his company was a pleasure.

Bill was a wonderful man to me and my son. He had a delightful sense of humor about the world and was full of fun. We will always be fans of his.

So very sorry to learn of Bill´s passing. My deepest condolences to the Mcmonigle family. Such a fine baseball player, a few years older than us, but I was honored to play on his Babe Ruth baseball team in the early days of Menlo Park. He knew how to play the game, and we all looked up to him. Most importantly, he was a good man, a man for others. RIP Bill

Bill helped out w my JV baseball team at SCU. I graduated in´74. I was not a scholarship player and not a starter but he took an interest in me, likely because I was a little hard nosed like him. I appreciated that and am sorry to hear of his passing. I too am a 5 th generation San Franciscan and appreciate his similar passion.

As solid as they come. Treated every one he met with dignity and respect. Always had that smile that just made your day better bumping into him. To the family of Bill take the memories and run with them. The man never stopped never slowed down and always was truly interested in the lives of others. So fortunate to have had our paths cross.

Have so many memories of Bill thru the years. He married my best friend Connie. Probably 50 years ago that I saw those dreamy eyes and said "wow Connie" as he walked out of Beltramos wine shop. Since then he was into many things . A wonderful life. Missing him!
