Boris "Bob" Katz, a resident of Tracy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 27th. Bob and his family moved to San Francisco in 1928 and he lived there for over 80 years. Bob is preceded in death by the love of his life, Miriam Katz. They were married for over 73 years. He lived a full life including serving in the military in WWII. Bob and Miriam owned a popular neighborhood corner store "Bob's Market" in San Francisco for over 25 years. He also worked for KPIX and Bay Meadows. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends entertaining them with stories of his life. He touched many lives with his generous nature and love of life and will be missed by many.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
