My sincere and deepest sympathy Mary, Jim, April and Families on the death of our dearly loved Brian. I cannot tell you how sorry I am to hear the sad news.
I have prayed for you many times and there is little more one can say in the face of such sorrow. I have heard such lovely things about Brian. We know that he is with God and at peace. We pray for you and for so many who loved him and who miss him, and we ask our God to give you the strength, hope and courage to live through these lonely times. Thank God for our faith that assures us that life is only changed, not taken away, and we will be with our loved ones again. All the Dodd family send their loving sympathy.

Our deepest sympathies to Jim and all the Boland family at the passing of Brian, may Gods comfort see you through this very difficult time

September 30, 2016

I received a voice mail Wednesday about the passing of my best friend, Brian. My world, as for many others, changed. No longer would I get to have the pleasure of having such a wonderful, caring, and loving man in my life. I know that his family is grieving deeply on their loss and my condolences go to them.
I knew and worked along side of Brian for many years in my 26 rears with Rehn Plumbing (now retired). I had the greatest respect for his skills as a carpenter and him being such a head strong man. There was nothing he would shy away from and he mastered the ground he stood on. He, like myself, spoke from the heart, and that sometimes got us into awkward situations on the job, but that was Brian.
I last saw Brian at my home in San Leandro a week or so ago, and he always talked about getting a home for April in the East Bay and raising his son. He loved them deeply and wanted the best family life that he could provide.
I sure miss you brother, I really do.

I will miss u with all my heart bro. We grew up together, met when u were 15 and I was 17 at Cala Foods. U were a brother to me...always there when things were bad for me and I needed an ear. I'm so happy u were in my life and I got to share many good times with u. All the cap sessions and horsing around we did, the one on one times we spent eating dinner, watching movies, fixing ur truck, all great memories. There's too many times to write about, I'd need a book. I will watch over your son and lady like u would say u would do for me.
You will never be forgotten ...see u on the other side, bro. I love u BDUBL.
