Dr. Bruce Michael Bambach, September 27, 1943 - May 18, 2015, of San Francisco, CA. Bruce Michael was the son of the late Bruce and Helen Bambach, brother to Cheryl Freeman of Pagosa Springs, CO, uncle to Diana Baetz and Blake Thomason of Colorado, great uncle to 7 nieces and nephew and survived by partner, Fernando Briosos of San Francisco. Bruce Michael had a passion for the arts, theatre, education and travel. He earned a BA, two Master Degrees and PhD in Theater Arts.
A celebration of life service was held on Friday.
In lieu of flowers please make donations to the San Francisco Symphony.

He was my high school English teacher, also, and the only high school teacher who taught us as though we were an AP class and challenged us to think critically, creatively, compassionately and honestly.
I’ve always been grateful for this man and this class!
