Bruno Pozza Obituary

Bruno Mario Pozza Peacefully on April 4, 2006 Dearly beloved husband of the late Florence Pozza; loving father of Suzanne (Gary) Joyce and Lynne (Glen) Fahs; devoted and cherished grandfather of Laura (Tim) McKeegan, Brian and Shannon Fahs; also survived by his dear sister, Evelyn Rhein. Predeceased by her sister Inez Frediani. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Longtime parishioner and usher of St. Gabriel Church for more than 60 years; past president of St Gabriel's Men's Club; lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus; member of the Holy Name Society. A loyal employee and branch manager of the Bank of America as well as president of SF chapter B of A Retirees Club. A decorated WWII veteran (Bronze Star); member of the 75th Infantry Division Veteran's Association. The family would like to thank the staff of Home Sweet Home for their kind and loving care. Friends and family may visit Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at 9:00 am at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City, and to the celebration of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St Gabriel Church (4oth and Ulloa St.), SF. Private Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your own favorite charity.

I rememeber "Mr. Pozza" as one of the most kind and patient fathers of any of my school girl friends.

He was always such a gentleman.
