Caroline McLaughlin Obituary

Caroline McLaughlin Passed away in San Mateo, California on November 28, 2006, following a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Caroline immigrated with her family to San Francisco in 1936 from Baldur, Manitoba, Canada. The Family of nine children of the late Kjartan and Gudrun Christopherson have remained in the Bay Area. Caroline raised her family in Marin and later Connecticut, but returned to the Bay Area to be close to her family. She leaves behind brothers, Henry and William Christopherson and sisters, Eileen Keller and Dorothy Cartwright and many beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her son Edward McLaughlin III and wife, Colleen and daughter, Kimberly Pellissier and husband, Pierre and four grandchildren. Friends and family may visit Friday, December 1 at 11 am and are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday December 1 at 1 pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue Daly City. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Colma. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research preferred.
