Cecelia Ward Obituary

WARD, Cecelia Ann - Passed away peacefully June 28, 2005 in the care of the Sisters of Mercy Marian Care Center, Burlingame, CA. She was born August 21, 1906 in San Francisco, four months after the "Great Earthquake." Preceded in death by her beloved husband Frank Worts Ward (ret. S.F.P.D.). Loving mother of Cecelia L. Jump of Santa Rosa, the late Frank Jesse Ward and the late Sister Cecilia Marie (Lois) Ward, SM. Beloved grandmother of Robert, Teresa and Jim Jump, Frank K. and Jeffrey K. Ward. Beloved great-grandmother of Ryan, Melissa and DeeDee Jump. Beloved sister of Marie Carroll and Allen McGinn and his wife Eva. Beloved mother-in-law of Lorraine Ward and Ivan Jump. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 2, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Santa Rosa. A Vigil Service will be held on Friday evening, at 7:00 p.m. at the DANIELS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES. Visitations from 2:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. Friday. A Cryptside Service will beheld on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, San Rafael. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Marian Care Center, 2300 Adeline Dr., Burlingame, CA 94010 "a very special place in her heart."
