On October 21, 2017, an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, & friend to many, was called to Heaven. Cece devoted herself to supporting & nurturing her family. She is survived by her loving husband Kevin, his two daughters whom she loved as her own, Erin & Lauren, son Ryan, her mother Marijuel Borges, brothers Joe(Karen) & Marty(Jaci), grandchildren Gavin & Colby, in-laws John, Jim(Shareen), nieces and nephews Mike, Matthew, Caroline, Stephanie, Christina(Jeremiah), Sabrina(Steve), and predeceased by her sister Martha and niece Jenny.Cece was born in San Jose, the family soon moved to South San Francisco where she attended St. Veronica's elementary school & El Camino High School. She was employed for many years at Bank of America including time as Executive Secretary to the Vice Chairman.
Cece maintained several close friendships from high school to this day. She and her "BFFs," as they called themselves, took trips together regularly to enjoy the best parts of life: lots of laughter & good company. These friends bonded even closer when Cece was diagnosed with cancer in September 2016.
Cece was unsurpassed as a wife to her husband and mother to their children. In 1970 Cece met the love of her life, Kevin Barry, whom she was reunited with and married in 1988.
All who knew Cece couldn't help but feel her love of life & compassion for all. Though we will dearly miss her warm smile & great big hugs, Cece will be remembered as a woman whose bright light shines on in all those she loved.

The family would like to thank the staff at Diablo Valley Oncology for their excellent care.
Friends & family are invited to a Celebration of Cece's life at 4 PM on Sunday, November 19th at the Pleasant Hill Community Center, 320 Civic Dr., Pleasant Hill, CA.

I cannot believe that you have been gone for 3 years. We just lost another one of our "besties" Pamela. but I know she is with you now. The rest of the gang still gets together and honors your memory. We actually bring the staircase picture with us when we go out to a restaurant and put it on the table. We will never forget you and Pam....we miss you so.

With Cece and Her winning smile gone on to meet the other Family Members in Heaven,She will be Missed by We Neighbors in Reno Nevada.
We met Kevin & Cece while they would come to meet Cece's Mother Marijuel here in Reno. We became Friends and will miss Cece very much. God Bless and you will never be forgotten in our Prayers.
