Cecilia Beltrame
Was welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on October 23, 2025. She was born in Frisanco, Italy on March 22nd 1925 to Maria Rosa and Antonio Dreon. She met and married her love, Enore Beltrame, in Frisanco in 1948. She was a loving and devoted wife for the 61 years they were married. She immigrated to the United States in 1951 with her infant daughter, to join her parents and brother in San Francisco. Four years later, she was reunited with her husband when he was allowed to come and join them. She then spent the next 74 years building a life and legacy with her husband Enore, her daughter Dolly, and son Roy in the Inner Richmond district.
She initiated her career with stints at Star Olives and Levis Strauss in San Francisco, followed by a 32-year celebrated tenure at Gumps. She was an expert at navigating the City by bus her entire life. In her later years, she took weekly trips to enjoy festive lunches at the Italian Club in North Beach.
Knitting brought her immense joy, whether crafting specialty items for her family or creating beanies for premature babies. She was a woman of profound faith, as demonstrated by her devotion to Mary, daily recitation of the rosary, attendance at mass, and adorning the altar at her church with flowers.
She enjoyed many years at her cabin in Lake County with her family. Her favorite pastime was to take walks and visit friends, play bingo, and attend Saturday family dinners/dances at the resorts in Loch Lomond.
She is survived by her children Dolly and Roy, her grandchildren Cristina (Peter), Paul (Erin), Julie (Matt), Vincenzo, and her great grandchildren Dominic, Gianna, Alessio, Gisella, Nicholas and Bella. Also survived by her sister in law, Gloria and nieces and nephew, Darlene, Diane, Dan, Maria and Vanda.
The Vigil and Rosary will be held at 5pm on Sunday, October 26th at McAvoy O'Hara, Geary Blvd. at 10th Ave, SF. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 27th at 10am at Star of the Sea Church, Geary Blvd. and 8th Avenue. Entombment to follow at the Italian Cemetery, Colma.
