Celine Di Bono Obituary

Celine B. Di Bono (Perol) September 9, 1918 - February 19, 2007 Celine passed peacefully into the hands of God and is reunited with her parents, Antonio and Emelia Perol; adored brother, Severino; and cherished grandson, Michael. Dearly beloved wife, lover, ever-present companion, and greatest fan of Tony for over 67 years. Celine showered endless love and affection on her children, Reno/Anna, Peter/Victoria, and James/ Victoria. She was loving "Nana" to Reno, Jeff, David, Gina, Michele, Peter, Elizabeth, Mark, Christina, and Kelly; great-grandmother to 14; and "Auntie Celine" to dozens of nieces and nephews. A daughter of San Francisco, Celine graduated from Balboa High School, class of 1936, was a founding member of The School of the Epiphany Mother's Guild. A dedicated homemaker and mother, Celine waited until her three sons were off to school and then worked side by side with husband, Tony, at "Di Bono Grocery." Later on, Celine was Tony's partner at "The California Wine Company" where she was renowned for her special blend, "rose" wine. Everyone loved her, and she was a devoted friend to many, and countless more who have gone before her. She is dearly missed.
