It has been many years since I have been in touch with Chuck but I have many fond memories of him from our GE/Aerospace days, and socializing in both the Philly and Jersey shore areas.I will always remember Chuck's winning smile, sense of humor, harty laugh and his interest in other people.I admired Chuck's caring for others, especially his mother,Alice and his sister,Marjean.I know, while he will be missed by all,he will be keeping us in his prayers from above.

It's been many years since I have seen Chuck, but the memories are all so very good, especially the good times we shared at the Jersey shore. I will always think of Chuck's upbeat and positive outlook on life and his concern for the well being of his family and friends.

It's been many years but I only have the fondest memories of Chuck as an outstanding individual. We were good friends in our grade school days.

Such a beautiful service with so many attendees who loved and cared for Chuck so much. A phrase that was repeated was the term "selfless", and he really was a selfless individual. We at visiongain miss him already.

If I walked into the Dougherty house now, Chuck would be sitting in his chair. He would either have his laptop next to him or the TV on. Or he might be peacefully taking a nap. If he was lucky, Connie might be ordering North Beach Pizza or the two of them would plan an early evening, perhaps drinks and appetizers at Kincaids.
Chuck was always relaxed because Connie, Mickie and CJ were close by. Connie in the kitchen reading a book, CJ in his room taking a catnap, and Mickie on the couch right next to her dad.
If we were smart, we would all make bets on Philly for the Superbowl. I’m sure Chuck is making arrangements for a good football season right now.
May you rest in peace, and may your gentle eyes watch down from heaven on your family.
