Christine Sophie Sheehan, beloved mother, grandmother, wife and friend passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2025 after a recent health battle. Longtime caretaker Cecille and her son were by her side. Christine was 84 years old.
Christine was born to Peter and Sophie Cameron on April 29, 1941 in San Francisco. She grew up in The Mission and Sunset District. She met her husband, Tony Sheehan at an Irish social dance hall (The KRB). They were married for 51 years before our beloved father Tony passed away in 2020. Christine had a great heart and warm sense of humor. She had many close friends and attended events at The Irish Center as long as she could. She was the best mother you could ever ask for and was heavily involved in her children's sports activities and taking them on trips to Clear Lake (Konocti) every summer.
Later in life she simply enjoyed her housework and spending time with family going out for lunches, dinners, etc. Even in tougher health time just the mention of something needed at Safeway or just going to a store was enough motivation to get her up and ready to go.
Christine is survived by her son Kevin, daughter Pauline (Fernando) Sanchez and adored grandchildren; Declan, Vincent, Maya, Jared and Brendan
Visitation will be December 30, 2025 4-8 PM at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, Daly City. Funeral Mass will be held at St Dunston's Church in Millbrea on December 31, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
The family would like to acknowledge the phenomenal care team Mom had around her for their tremendous support led by Cecille's four plus years of extraordinary care and support. The same can be said for Rhoanna, Carmen and Janah.
