Christopher M. Boragno, 63, of San Francisco, in the presence of his sister LeeAnn and her husband Gabriel, took his last breath in San Mateo at TLC Board and Care on March 26, 2019. Chris was a native of the Richmond District in San Francisco. He is proceeded into death by his loving parents Gloria and Clarence (Barney) Boragno. He leaves behind his younger sister LeeAnn Boragno Leeper and her husband and his good friend, Gabriel Donoghue. He adored his only niece Angelina Rose Leeper but sadly Christopher was too ill to meet the newest addition to the family, his newly born Great-niece Ambra Louise. A funeral mass will be held for Christopher at St. Monica's Church (470 24th Avenue, 94121) on Wednesday, April 10th at 11AM. Chris loved his pets and fishing so in lieu of flowers a donation to the SF SPCA or the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation in his name is appreciated. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I was a neighbor of the Boraragno's, great family. Chris was a happy-go-lucky-guy. The only guy I know to win a new ride! Chris, always had a joke or two to tell.
Will be missed

Chris was one of the first people I met when I moved to San Francisco 40 years ago. He was a kind, loving, funny, terrific person who treated me like a sister. He stayed close to our family while our kids grew up and the whole Boragno family were part of our family as well. We lived across the street and oftentimes would get together for drinks and laughs. Chris loved life and people and he will be greatly missed.
My love and prayers to Leeann and family at this time of loss, but those happy memories will never fade.

I knew Chris from the Flower Mart, where we both worked in the late 90's. He was always very friendly and funny and I was so sad to read today of his passing. Sending sympathy to his family. Rest In Peace, Chris.

Chris made me laugh and made everyone around him happy. Met Chris and Clarence in Sonoma while visiting my Aunt Dorothy and my Uncle Leo T. Rosi. Enjoyed many dinners together not to mention a cocktail or two. He will be missed and always remembered as "one of the special ones"

I remember Chris from the late 70's and early 80's. We got together many times in Pacifica and even went to his home in San Francisco and had a nice dinner with his family. Sorry to have lost touch over the years and sad to read of his passing. ~ Laura Hurley

I haven't seen Chris in many years, but at one time we were close friends. We lost contact, but I have wonderful memories of our friendship. I am so sorry that I didn't have a chance to say goodbye.
