Christopher S. DiTullio

Born November 16, 1956; departed this earth December 27, 2016.

Chris was born in Los Gatos to parents Ralph and Ruth DiTullio. He attended Los Gatos High School, was a Japanese exchange student for one semester before graduating in 1975. Chris attended West Valley Community College but soon after was hired as a flight attendant for Transamerica Airlines where he worked for 2 years. He later worked with a mentor who taught him the art of tromp l'oeil painting for which he would use his artistic talents to create beautiful paintings, murals and rooms.

Chris met Charles Alexander in 1979 and became his dear friend and roommate for the next 37 years. Chris met the love of his life Scott Souza in 1999 and for the next 17 years were partners in everything life has to offer. He loved to travel and see the world; Italy was his favorite place in the world. He had an eye for everything that was beautiful from gardens to architecture; he was a true artist. Chris loved cats, especially tuxedo cats. He had three that he considered part of his family: Kitty Carlisle, Sonia who also passed away this year, and Felix. He couldn't wait to see his kitties each morning and kiss their pink little noses.

Chris died unexpectedly at his home at the young age of 60. He is survived by his father Ralph DiTullio, his eight siblings and their spouses; Marysue DiTullio, Ralph DiTullio(Liz), Carol Carlson, Randy DiTullio (Regina), Phillip DiTullio, Michaelene Johnson (John), John DiTullio and Annie DiTullio; 13 nephews and nieces and 7 great-nephews & nieces. He is preceded in death by his mother Ruth DiTullio and brother-in-law Conrad Carlson.
