I knew David way back in high school in brooklyn, and we were pretty good friends; loved joking around in class. A sweet smart guy. Years later, after I ,published a novel or two, he dropped me a note, and we communicated briefly. Rest in peace, my old pal.

David's name just popped into my head. We were friends at Brooklyn College. When my husband and I visited San Francisco many years ago, I met up with David again, the same sweet, smart friend, so full of life. I am so sorry he is gone.
