David Levy Memoriam

David Levy
March 29th, 1942 - November 7th, 2024
David Albert Levy, born in Alameda, California, and a longtime resident of San Mateo, California, passed away peacefully in Burlingame, California. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor Louise Levy, and their two sons, Nathan and Marc Levy. David also leaves behind his brothers, Arthur and Joseph Levy.
David spent his childhood exploring the open hills of Oakland before development changed the landscape. Drafted during the Vietnam War, he was remarkably the only member of his basic training unit sent to Europe rather than Asia. He served his country in Germany, where he spent much of his time driving a jeep and doing clerical work.
A dedicated San Francisco real estate professional, David never retired, working six days a week because he loved what he did.
In accordance with Jewish tradition, David was laid to rest at the Home of Eternity Cemetery in Oakland. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the medical and healthcare professionals who provided such exceptional care for David.
May his memory be a blessing.
