I am so saddened by David´s passing. I first met David in 1972 when we were both law clerks in San Francisco for U.S. District Judge Stanley Weigel. We bonded quickly and shared an intense work year, as clerks do. David´s keen intelligence and caring for the well being of other drove his legal practice and benefited friends, family and clients. Only weeks ago we shared one of our long "catch up" luncheons. As usual, David was upbeat and enthused about the future. He was in love with Una and looking forward to their European trip. He was so happy. David and I were planning a weekend together so that Mary Anne and I could meet Una. Grateful for our friendship and the time we had together, I will carry David´s memory in my heart.
