to my dearest sister christina.... i still can't believe what has happened. All the pain, sadness, and emptiness we all feel doesnt compare to yours. But your not alone, i will be there for you..i'll be sad when your sad, i will cry when you cry and i will be angry when your angry. You and Dennis have done so much for my family and i am so thankful for that. Dennis was more than just a brother-in-law to me and Steve, he was our big brother, somebody we can turn to and look up to. I will never forget the big smile he would have when we would bring the boys over. I have so many memories of Dennis and i know they will always stay with me. Chris your my big sister, I love you so very much, i wish i can take all your pain away but i know i can't, but i know i will help you through it..day by day....

We miss you very much Dennis..Thank you for everything that you've done for us especially for the boys. Your the best brother-in-law ever, we will NEVER forget you, you'll always be in our hearts... You were more than an uncle to the boys you treated them like they were your own, but i know you'll still be there for them, your thier angel now. im very sad that alan didn't get to know you very well, but the memories we have of you will be his story times. i`m not sure what to say but i miss you and love you so much. i`m sorry i never got to tell you how much i loved you when you were still here, but i know i can still tell you that in my prayers. i remember the day that we got the call saying that you have left us. it was like any other monday morning: me getting ready for school (not looking up to school, by the way). and then we got the call from auntie Linda. at first i didn`t believe it or think anything of it... it took me a couple days to finally realize that my dear uncle was gone and not coming back. so anyways, i just wanted to tell you how much i loved you. good-bye uncle dennis. you will always be remembered. Dennis was my best buddy, a friend that you could tell your problems to and he would always say "Don't worry, I will take care of you."

He was the kindest, warmest, best kind of friend a person could want. Thank you for all the wonderful family times we had. One memory that sticks out on my mind is one year when we all went on our annual Fernando camping trip, Dennis & Christina were in charge of breakfast. When we all got up, there was Dennis making breakfast....I mean, REAL breakfast like eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, rice! He would "cook it up"!!! And, he had that "champion" stove too!!! It was great! Thank you for the memories and thank you for taking care of our Christina. You will be missed so much.

He was one of my most trusted and capable colleagues. More importantly, he was my friend, and words cannot express how much and how deeply I will miss him. Dennis, I will truly miss you....I will miss our "political" discussions during election time, bumping into each other at Starbucks (when I still lived near ya), watching you and Ariel walk together, seeing you wave goodbye from your front porch as I drove off. You were the rock for Christina and Ariel and set the foundation for us to build upon. We will help the both of them through this, don't worry.... Until we see each other again "roomie"....

Dennis was my Brother-In-Law, but he was more like the big brother i never had! Though there wasn't much time spend between him and I, I have many memorize of him! I remember times, many times after lunch at my dad's house he would sit on the couch and watch T.V., then within the next few minutes you would hear him snoring or dozing off and he would pretend that we wasn't falling asleep, it was so funny! Robert, my boyfriend, on our way to Las Vegas to see Neen, Steve and the boys remembers the most funny thing! It was Dennis' turn to drive and Robert was in the passenger seat, he said he started to hear Dennis snore, but as soon as he looked over to him Dennis started to whistle, as if he trying to say, "No i'm not falling asleep"! hahaha, yeah right Dennis! He loved the boys too, Anthony, Alex and Alan, you could just see it when he played with them! Dennis was like another kid when he was with them, he would play video games with them! He acted like a second father to them, anything they wanted or needed, Uncle D would buy!!=) We are going to miss him soooo much! Dennis was such a great person and took good care of my sister too! I just can't believe he's really gone, but he will be in my prayers, my heart and i know i can still talk to him if i need to. The memorize we have will stay with us forever and we'll never forget you Dennis and all the good you've done! We Love You!!

When I heard about D, it was a shock! a Big Time reality check! Dennis was a great man who loved my cousin Christina uncondtionally. Its so hard to see our family and especially our nephew's & nieces's grieve, but ya know, there is no doubt in my mind that your looking down on us...smiling & saying "Don't worry guys this pain is only temporary and we'll hook up again soon, aren't you glad I gave up cigarettes now? =)"...No worries D, we'll all be fine...this isn't the end, only the beginning of a new life. Dennis was a great guy! I remember his smile especially at all us kids when we were goofing off at the St. Kevin's Summer Program.
It's funny how time flies. Just seems like yesterday we were all walking up to summer school.
