Mrs. Matteucci was my fabulous fourth grade teacher at Buri Buri. She had such a positive impact on my life, I still tell stories about her. She was fighting with city hall over taking her home due to the building of Daly City BART.
That school year, she wore a Mickey Mouse pin and told us when she wore it upside down, she was in a bad mood.
Aside from the wonderful things she taught us, I will always be grateful that your mom showed up to my father´s Rosary when he unexpectedly passed away a year after I was in her class. One of the first days back at school for me, while lining up to come back from recess, I just started bawling over the loss of my dad. Without missing a beat, she came straight over to me, didn´t ask a thing, but just hugged me till I was calm. I didn´t have the vocabulary then to express how much that meant to me; I didn´t have the words to convey that that was a hug from a person who just knew what was going on with me and what to do in that moment. I´m so sorry for your family´s loss, and I just want you to know she was loved by people you may never even heard of.

I had the pleasure of knowing Dina since I was a little girl. She always was upbeat and had a lovely spirit. She told me not a day went by that she did not look to the heavens and speak to her dear Ralph. It is comforting to know that she has been reunited with her love. My condolences to her family.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Dina. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure that fills your heart and brings you joy. May you find comfort in Jesus promise of the hope of everlasting life at John 6:40.

Mrs. Matteucci was my 4th grade teacher at Buri Buri and have fond memories of that year. My mom also babysat her granddaughter years later. We ran into one another over the years. I'm very sorry for your loss to the entire Matteucci family. She may be gone but at least for me I have very happy memories and will never forget her. Please accept my condolences during this most difficult time.
