Dixie Bazzani

85, died peacefully on October 20, 2014 with her loving husband of 66 years, Til, by her side. Survived by her children, Michael (Pam), Janice (Charlie) and Steve (Bobbi). Beloved Grandmother of Matthew (Marcy), Aimee (Jesus), Kelly, John (Elise), Aaron, Nicole, Lindsey and Haley. Cherished GreatGrandmother of Noah, Joaquin, Lucy, Antonia and Miabella. She will also be missed by many other family members and friends.
Dixie's life began on 12/10/1928 in Belmond, Iowa. She met her husband Til at SSF High School. They married and later moved to San Mateo where they raised their family. She was employed for many years at the San Mateo High School District and was actively involved at St. Matthews Catholic Parish. She loved vacationing in Blairsden-Graeagle where they retired. She enjoyed golf, sewing, her card groups, spending time with her family and chocolate.
Family and friends are invited to attend vigil/rosary service on Friday, October 24th, 2014 at 7pm at Redwood Chapel, 847 Woodside Rd. in Redwood City with reception immediately to follow. No funeral mass will be held. A private internment to be held at Mohawk Cemetery in Blairsden, Ca.

Dixie, You will be missed, we couldn't have asked for a better mom, mother in law, and grandmother. You are now in a beautiful place with Jesus, which is where you wanted to be. We love you so much and treasure every minute we had with you. Love, Steve Bobbi Nicole Lindsey Haley and of course Theo.
