Resident of Hillsborough
Beloved wife of Ken Koskella, caring sister of Jeanne Mottrom and John Eaton of Connecticut. Devoted mother of Michelle Koskella (son in law Mitch Cone) and Kevin Koskella, loving grandmother of Meredith Cone and Bryce Cone.
Dori touched many lives with her gentle spirit and positive outlook on life. She was born in Bridgeport Connecticut and graduated from Harding High school. She was the first in her family to attend college and graduated from Southern Connecticut State University and Fairfield University with a graduate degree in mathematics and education. She taught in Europe before moving to California to teach. She left teaching to raise a family and was active in the Hillsborough/Burlingame newcomers club and with the Garden Café in Burlingame helping raise money for the Stanford Children's hospital.
She enjoyed traveling throughout Europe and the United States with her husband. Liked hiking around the SF Bay area, cooking, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service June 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Crosby N. Gray, #2 Park Road in Burlingame CA. Reception to follow with buffet lunch at 12:00 p.m. at Poplar Creek.
