I just came across this obituary of my Uncle Ed. He was my Dad's Brother, Theodore (Ted) D. Smith.
Uncle Ed was so great as he came and saw us when my Mother (Mary) passed and then 10 years later when we lost my father. He was so generous with his time helping my Step mother, Shirley deal with all the financials. He was also a true uncle helping give a better insight into my Dad's early life as both Ed and my Dad were raised in an orphanage in Yonkers NY. They were half brothers but looked almost identical.
I hope some of Ed's family reads this and reaches out to me so we can try to get in touch. All of my Sisters and Brother are thankfully still alive and would love to connect. God Bless all of you and God Bless my Uncle Ed.
