THERE ARE REALLY NO EXACT WORDS TO EXPRESS JUST HOW MUCH HE WILL BE MISSED! HE WAS THE GREATEST FATHER ANYONE COULD WANT. MY DAUGHTERS XYLAH AND IZZI ONLY HAD A BREIF TIME BUT EVERY MOMENT WAS WAS FILLED WITH SUCH LOVE AND FRUIT. HE ALWAYS SHARED HIS FRUIT AND STEAK. IT IS SOO HARD HERE WITHOUT HIS UNDERSTANDING AND PATIENCE.
I AM VERY PROUD TO SAY THAT HE IS MY DAD. HIS VOICE AND HIS JOKES ARE IMPRINTED DEEP IN MY MIND. HE MIGHT NOW BE IN A BETTER PLACE BUT IS STILL RIGHT HERE IN MY HEART.
I WILL FOREVER LOVE YOU DAD, AND ALL OF US HERE IN VEGAS WILL MISS YOUR LOVING HUGS
GALAXIE MARIE ,IZZI DAE, XYLAH BLU, RAY, CHRIS, AND FOR SURE YOUR BOY NATAKA TOO WE ALL LOVE YOU DEARLY

My love and condolences to the family of Eddie Montoya.
I regret that I am not there with you to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Eddie. I will be there in spirit.
I will always remember Eddie for the love and kindness he shared with all of us and for his special ways with the elderly and the small children. He had such a soft and soothing voice, he could calm the waters.
I will always remember his love for New Mexico and green chile. I will never forget the trips he made to Albuquerque and the dancing lessons he used to give us. His elegance dancing those rhumbas, cha chas and ballroom dances was amazing.
The love that Eddie shared with Aunt Lala was awesome, I can see him now in that mansion in the sky, sitting on a cloud, holding her hand, probably singing to her and sharing a plate of food.
We make our own plans, but it is God who leads the way and clears the obstacles from our path. Today Eddie is in Paradise, let us walk in harmony with the Lord that we too may meet in Paradise.
With all my love!

My grandpa undoubtedly loved his family. Even in his last days his concern was with his family rather than with himself. I find comfort in knowing he will at last be at peace. Perhaps even sitting in a van somewhere in the heavens drifting in and out of tranquil slumbers listening to the jazz and classical music he adored. I know he is looking down upon us wondering when all of the fuss and tears will subside. His sarcasm, playfulness, and the way his eyes lit up when he saw my children will be most fondly remembered and missed. Thank you grandpa for giving me strength, pride, and numerous invaluable life lessons.

Joyce, Armond, Laura, Simone, Nicole, Hito, Sebi, Galaxie, Destiny and all of the grandchildren, I share deeply in your loss. A void too large to describe has overcome me. Uncle Albert and I will deeply miss our brother who always had a ear for our complaints and joy for our celebrations. The time is never right but we take comfort in knowing that he joins Mom and Dad, Paul, Dorothy, Jeanette, Robert and Helen in looking out for the rest of us. (But it is getting to be a little too lopsided.)

I came to know Uncle Eddy through my sister Olga and brother in law Danny. My memories will always carry the great family reunions Uncle Eddy would help coordinate along with his brothers and sisters.
I send my deepest sympathy to the entire family. A great man will be well missed but his memory will live on forever.
Sincerely,
Janet Loconte & Family
