As his niece Nancy's husband, I always enjoyed visiting with Ellis whenever he and Bernice were in the Twin Cities. He was full of life and good cheer, and while we were on different sides of the political aisle, he always was willing to engage in spirited discussion of the issues with fair-mindedness and respect. May his memory be a blessing to our cousins and their children.
