Ernest Cuneo Obituary

Ernest Anthony Cuneo Entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 6, 2008 in Novato, CA. He was born Oct. 25, 1918 in San Francisco, CA. Ernest served in the US Navy during World War II on multiple warships as a boatswain's mate in charge of the ship's gun crew. After proudly serving his country, Ernest was a garbage man for the Sunset Scavengers in San Francisco. He later changed professions and was a tile setter, where he became well-known for his expertise in the art of laying tile. Ernie was a family man and enjoyed spending his free time with his family. He was also an avid golfer and it was not uncommon to see him on the course before daylight. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife of 55 years, Lena, who preceded him in death. Ernie is survived by his three daughters Linda (Bruno) Lacopo of Novato, Joanne (Ken) Reutell of Richland, WA; and Ginny (Rich) Todt of Novato. He is also survived by his grandson, Nicholas Reutell of Seattle, WA; and his step-grandchildren Scott (Flora) Todt, and Josh (Wendi) Todt and step-greatgrandchildren Kevin and Angela. Ernie was loved by many and his passing will leave an empty space in our hearts. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Monte's Chapel of the Hills Mortuary in San Anselmo. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice or the charity of your choice. Monte's Chapel of the Hills San Anselmo 415-4538440
