Estelita Magsaysay Obituary

Estelita A. Magsaysay

Passed away peacefully at home with family on Friday, October 21, 2016. Loving and caring mother of sons, Patrick and Philip, wife to Macario, youngest and loving sister of Nanny Ignacio and her late brothers Ding, Joe, Rolly and Rey and daughter of Felix and Salud Asercion. Estelita was born in General Tres Cavite, Philippines in September 1935. She later came to the United States with her family and resided in San Francisco. She was a proud and hard-working employee of Beverly Manor Convalescent Hospital for 20 plus years before she retired in 2003. She loved to go outside, visit, walk and shop all around the city. She spent her weekends praying at St. Patrick's Church. At home she would love to watch her favorite TV programs and liked visiting casinos all over the bay area. She touched everyone she met with her kind smile and sweet attitude.

Friends may visit Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 4pm-9pm and are invited to attend the Vigil Tuesday 7:00pm at DUGGAN'S SERRA MORTUARY, 500 Westlake Avenue, Daly City. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 2, 2016, 10:30am at Our Lady of Mercy, Daly City, CA. Committal Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
