Estelle Walker Obituary

Estelle Walker Died at home April 28. Estelle was born January 30, 1916 to Nora and Leonard Salomon in San Francisco. She was married for 65 years to the late Robert "Bob" Walker and resided in San Rafael for many years. She is survived by her family: son, Robert Walker, Jr. and wife, Zoena; grandchildren, Leslie and Robert; and cousins, Robert and Priscilla Buchman. Estelle led a very full life. She enjoyed helping the American Field Service in WWII, Juvenile Hall Auxiliary, Friends of Arequipa, Sunnyhills and the Marin Art and Garden Center. Estelle enjoyed gardening, golf, boating and traveling with her husband Bob. She was a member of the Meadow Club, Saint Francis Yacht Club and a proud graduate of the Lowell High School Class of 1934. The family wishes to thank Mother's "Angels:" Penny, Joan, Debbie, Vickie and Maria for their wonderful care and love that they gave to Estelle. Estelle will be missed by her many friends and family. Entombment at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Colma.

Estelle was more than just a person that I took care of -- she was a part of me, my family and alot of memories that I will cherish forever. She will be missed by all who knew her.
May God Bless and look over family and friends. My condolences to the Walkers, Robert Jr. (Skip), Zoe, Leslie, Robert III, Bob and Priscilla Buchman. Hold onto all the memories.
