November 20, 1938 - March 23, 2024
Gene passed away March 23, 2024. Loving father of Pam Gordon and Jeannine Guaraglia. Grandfather of Michaela Gordon. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marie and John Guaraglia.
Gene was born in raised in San Francisco, graduating from Balboa High School in 1957. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 104 for over 20 years. The last 30 years, he lived in San Ramon where he served as the bartender at many parties at the neighborhood clubhouse. If there was music, he would be the first one on the dance floor.
Gene passed on his love of sports to his daughters and granddaughter and was a SF 49er season ticket holder beginning at Keiser for over 40 years, in addition to being a fan of the Golden State Warriors and golf. He also worked part-time in retirement at Dublin Ranch Golf Course.
Services will be held on April 2, 2024 with Visitation beginning at 10 am at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 First Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566.

Gene was a true gentleman, always respectful, and a great bowler & a smooth dancer. My father George Campi, Sunset Scavengers, was friends with Gene's parents & spoke of the many Guaraglia family's often. That was a good time. He would visit my parents and bowl in leagues at L&L castle lanes with many garbageman& everyone wanted him on their team! When I played music with my band, Gene was always on the floor dancing with a smile I will never forget! A great man from a great family, Gene, Thanks for the memories!!
