I remember Eugene as far back as grammar school, when he was a young child running around your family grocery store....always happy and smiling. Vicky Jennings

He always had a smile and was always fun to be with. Played many a round of golf with Gene and enjoyed every one. And he always had a hot car. There's a lot of us who will miss you, Gene. Salut!

I remember Eugene when your family owned the grocery store
at the end of Brooklyn Avenue. I remember him playing in the
grocery store when we all were going to Cleveland Elementary
School....My family lived up the hill on Newton Avenue.
Very sorry to hear of his passing. Holding onto the good memories. Vicky Young Jennings

What a great guy! Contributing so much in so many ways, but never drawing attention to himself and what he accomplished so graciously. So unassuming. So gentle and supportive. Gene will be sorely missed at Rotary by this extended family.
