Euthemia (Effie) Tamaras Passed away peacefully at home in San Francisco on November 6, 2006. Adored wife of the late Peter Tamaras; beloved sister-in-law of Nick (wife, Joy); loving aunt of numerous nieces and nephews; dearest cousin of Teia Nuris and Lula Ossipoff. A devoted longtime member of Annunciation Cathedral Ladies Philoptochos Society and a member of the Metropolis of San Francisco Philoptochos Board as well as many other philanthropic organizations. A native of Vallejo, CA, age 84. Friends may visit on Wednesday after 5 p.m. and are invited to attend the Prayer Service (Trisagion), 7:00 p.m. at Annunciation Cathedral, 245 Valencia St. SF, CA 94103, and the Funeral Service, Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Greek Orthodox Memorial Park, Colma. Thitsa Effie we will miss you. We never made it to the Patriarhiou like we wanted so very much to do. There where your patron saint is, I will always continue to say a special prayer for you and Uncle Peter God Bless you both for being
such good, genuine people. We were so very lucky to have you in our lives.
