I am so very sorry to hear of Fletcher's passing. I was a carpenter apprentice and Fletcher taught me so much about my craft. You were a kind man and a hard worker.

Fletcher was a running/racing teammate of mine with the Pacific Striders back in the early to mid 2000s. He was a very competitive guy. One year at our cross country championships, an older male competitor collapsed during the race. Fletcher, who was having a great race of his own, stopped in the middle of the race and tried to revive this man with mouth to mouth. This selfless act tells you all you need to know about Fletcher.
