Frances Emiliana Leonoudakis
July 27, 1920 - October 29, 2012
Frances passed away on October 29, 2012 at her home in Daly City, Ca. after a courageous battle with heart disease. Frances was born in Petaca, New Mexico on July 27, 1920 to Pedro I. Giron and Matiana Giron. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years Achilles C. Leonoudakis, Son Nicholas C. Leonoudakis and his wife Karen of San Carlos, Daughter Karen L. Hein and her husband John of Orinda, Ca., and Daughter Stephanie M. Golder and her husband Tim of South San Francisco, Ca., Grandchildren Nicole Fuentes, Kristina Leonoudakis, Nicholas Hein, John Hein and Jared Hein, and Great-Grandchildren Nadia and Lorenzo Fuentes. Devoted brothers Pedro I. Giron and Joseph I. Giron and sister Victoria Giron preceded her in death.
After working for Seton Medical Center as a Nurse Aid for 18 years, Frances enjoyed spending time with her children who were her pride and joy. She loved to travel, read, do crossword puzzles, cook, listen to the radio, watch movies, and watch the S. F. Giants win the World Series twice in her lifetime.
Friends may visit Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and are invited to a Memorial Service to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8, all at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City, Ca. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1100 El Camino Real, Colma, CA. In lieu of flowers please send donations to: Menaul School, 302 Menaul Blvd., N.E., Albuquerque, N.M., 87197

My grandmother was the most beautiful, giving person I have ever met. She loved everyone and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was the best role model to all of her family. I have a lifetime of memories that I will always cherish and hold dear. I am blessed to have had her as my grandmother. I ache inside knowing I won't see her smile again.
