Dearest Frank:
One of the best things about living in lovely San Francisco at 550 Davis Street from 2001 until 2006 was the wonderful neighbours: Helen & Gordon who introduced us to you, Mike & Annette, Sy, and Paul & you, my dear friend. What amazing times we had: the dinners, the parties, the friendship that never ended. Not even after we moved back to Canada. We always saw you when we came back to San Francisco to visit. I will never forget the last evening we spent in Toronto. How generous you always were to our daughters.
I never saw you again after Paul died: you became a bit reclusive. I tried to stay in touch. I know these years without him were so hard for you. I take comfort in my belief that you are reunited with him, and with all of your departed family and friends.
You were a unique, perfect gentleman & a kind and compassionate friend. Until we meet again.
Love,
Lynne
