Frank Wulff Obituary

Frank Joseph Wulff Santa Rosa, CA., passed away peacefully at home July 22, 2011. Frank was born September 12, 1921 to immigrant parents Frank and Wilma Krumpolec of San Francisco. Frank's father died when he was 4 years old. Wilma later married Ernest Wulff who adopted Frank and his late brother Al. Frank grew up in San Francisco, graduating from Polytechnic High School. Frank served his country proudly during WWII in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was also recalled for service during the Korean conflict. Frank worked for 29 years in the SF Bay Area as a Regional Sales representative for Sweetheart Cup (Maryland Cup Corporation). After he "retired", he then spent over 28 years working as a sales representative for Sid Kurlander and Son, Inc. located in Santa Rosa, who are Wholesalers of Paper Products, Candy and Wine. Frank was married to Lila (Johnson) Wulff on November 20, 1943, and they were deeply devoted to each other for over 64 years. Both Frank and Lila also spent many years as members of the Santa Rosa Lions and Lioness Clubs, and each held several positions, including service as President respectively. Frank was strong in his faith. He was a very kind man, always giving his time and service putting others first, without any regard of receiving anything in return. He also had a wonderful sense of humor, and he was loved by all who knew him! Frank is survived by his son, Mike and daughter-in-law Wendy Wulff of Cave Creek, AZ, and his daughter Marla Colombo of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Sabrina Wulff of Cave Creek, AZ, and Amanda Wulff Colombo, Allyson and Anthony Colombo of Colorado Springs, CO, and his great grandson, Brayden Colombo, Amanda's son. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 22, 2011 at Eggen and Lance Chapel, 1540 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA 95404. (707)545-3747. My condolences to Frank's family. He was a great guy and I thoroughly enjoyed him and Lila, too. He always made me laugh with his sense of humor. He and Lila were both faithful members and friends of the Lion's and Lioness Clubs of Santa Rosa. I especially appreciated all the photos taken by Frank for my Lioness Albums. As our Liaison from the Lion's Club, he served us all well. You are missed, Frank!
