To the Baker Family,
I unfortunately am just now learning of Gary's passing. I have such wonderful memories of the year or so we dated at St Mary's. He was so very special to me. I did get to have dinner with him in Los Angeles in 1985. It was nice to reconnect. I remember how gracious and welcoming your family was when I attended a celebration with Gary at your home in San Mateo. Heartfelt blessings to you all. Sincerely, Rosemarie (Rory) Romberg-Daniels

To much sadness, I just came across the news that Garrett had passed away over three tears ago. We were colleagues from 1985-88 at First Interstate Bank where our desks were side-by-side. He often discussed his family especially his brother Greg and his parents and friend Von, all whom he loved intensely. He shared aspects of his wonderful life on a regular basis. He was a funny and warm person, and whose memory I will remember always. God bless the Baker family.

I have sadly discovered the passing of Garrett, after searching for him when finding a photograph from my travels and time spent in Sydney, NSW in 1991. He was such a charming young man and very kind and polite. We went on several dates and he was a true gentleman. My deepest condolences to his family. I hope time has helped to heal the pain of his loss. Jacqueline

Just found out about Garrett's passing via a Linked In message. Needless to say I'm shocked to see the chapter close on such a vibrant soul. Garrett, Dave Neagle and I lived together as young men launching our careers at First Interstate Bank and we've stayed in touch off and on for nearly 40 years - careers crossing paths along the way. Sorry to have missed the service . . .

I have fond memories of Gary as a little boy. A polite young man who shook hands with adults looking at the floor! Then as an altar boy at my wedding. There is a picture in the album of him on the altar looking very serious.
I'm sure he will be missed by the family here on earth but will be well taken care of by all the family in heaven.
You are all in my thoughts,

I've known Garrett for almost 10 years, he hired me to work with him which would of been 10 years next month. During my time working with him, he was a great mentor and friend. I've learned a lot from him not not just career wise, but also perspective. He had a great sense of humor, we talked a lot about sports, we made golf bets on every major, and talked about all his travels. He was a great person and will be surely missed.

As a kid I always enjoyed catching up with cousin Gary. Like him I had a love for basketball and he would always give me pointers on my game. He came to my high school basketball games and always had positive energy, win or lose. As an adult catching up with him at family events was also
