Gerald "Jerry" Sullivan, age 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Rocklin, California, on Sunday, March 15, 2020. Born in San Francisco to Jeremiah and Hanoria Sullivan, he attended St. Phillip's School, Riordan High School and USF. Jerry and his wife of 48 years Rochelle (deceased) loved to travel, entertain, and spend time with friends and family. Jerry was a lifelong educator for the San Francisco Unified School District for over 30 years where he had a positive influence in the lives of his colleagues and students. Known affectionately as "Himself," he possessed an unmatched zest for life, an unconditional love for others, and an infectious laugh. Above all else, he was a man who loved his family so very much and was truly one of the last "good guys." Jerry is survived by his brother, James, four children, Jim, Jerry, Marie and Margaret, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial service is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Jim, Jerry, Marie, Margaret, and your families, our prayers are with all of you. A prayer also to Jerry's brother, Jim. I know how close to each other they were. We had 55 years of a wonderful friendship, We shared many happy times and some sad times but knew we could always find a shoulder, a hug, a laugh, and a tear from each other to get us through. What a blessed ride your friendship was. Thank you Jer for sharing your life and your family with us.
Love you,
Gene and Dora

To Jim, Jerry, Margaret and Marie and all your loved ones, your Father/Grandfather is away from your sight, but, never your memory, away from your touch, but, never your heart. Although it is difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort all of you tomorrow. Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles. May all of your find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends. My sincere condolences to all of you. God Bless. Martin McMillan
