With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of Geraldine Garcia, the beloved wife of Raymond T. Garcia.
She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Raymond T. Garcia, and their three children, Lisa (Joe) Prosch, Melinda (George) Garcia, and Ray (Debbie) Garcia. Geraldine was a proud grandmother to Sidney DeJesus II (Stephani), Lauren Prosch, Shelby Prosch, and Chris (Kendra) Garcia. She was also the cherished great-grandmother of Gianna DeJesus, Taliyah DeJesus, and Averie Garcia.
A dedicated and passionate woman, Geraldine worked for 23 years as a Marketing Manager at Pacific Bell in San Francisco. She was a committed Catholic who found joy in cooking, gardening, sewing, decorating, and spending quality time with her family. Proud of her Filipino heritage, she was also a loyal supporter of the San Francisco 49ers.
Geraldine's love for her family and her unwavering faith will be greatly missed. She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and warmth that will never be forgotten. In loving memory, she will forever be in our hearts.
Friends may visit on Sunday, March 16th, from 4pm to 8pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., in Daly City, where a Rosary will begin at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on March 17th, at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 434 Alida Way in So. San Francisco at 10:30am. Geraldine will be laid to rest following Mass at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.

With deepest sympathy, may you rest in peace, Aunty Gerry. I´ll never forget being a kid and you carting me and Sidney around in your classic Mustang. I enjoyed our conversations throughout the years. You always took time to take a genuine interest in how I was doing. I´ll never forget the sound of your voice. Although we were extended family, you never treated me as such.
We worked together through some very stressful times taking turns caring for Auntie Addie. I appreciated everything you did, despite dealing with your own health concerns.
Love you Aunty Gerry. Thank you for being a part of my life. You will always be remembered.
