Gloria M. McIntyre died peacefully April 20, 2023 at home in San Bruno. She was born March 22, 1928 in San Francisco, the daughter of James and Camille (Porcella) Sala.
Gloria graduated from Notre Dame High School in San Francisco, Class of 1946. She received an AA degree from San Francisco City College. Her career as a bookkeeper included working at Bimbo's 365 Club and for various surgeons in the City. Gloria married John McIntyre on September 8, 1951. They were married for 56 years. She was very involved with St. Robert's Parish activities including organizing day trips for senior parish group members.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband John McIntyre, brothers Roy Malatesta and Albert Malatesta. Surviving are her daughter Patricia McIntyre and son John McIntyre Jr.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Saint Robert Catholic Church, 1380 Crystal Springs Road in San Bruno.

Gloria was one of the nicest people I´ve ever known. She and her husband John were great friends with my late grandparents and they came to many family gatherings during my childhood. I recently reconnected with her and my husband and I went to her house and had lunch and talked for hours and what a wonderful time it was! Gloria you will be missed so much and I´m so glad I got to see you one last time. Say hi to grandma and grandpa and John. Condolences to Patsy and John. Aunt Gloria was the head of our family for a long time. She was a sweet and soft spoken woman. She will be missed by all her nieces. I hope she will see uncle johnny, grandma and grandpa Sala and her two brothers Roy and al. We will miss your smile and good sense of humor. Love you Sandy
