Grace Morton Obituary

Grace Mary Morton After a lengthy illness, Grace Mary (Vitalie) Morton, 86, passed away on September 13, 2008. Born in Collinsville, CA, Grace spent most of her early life in San Francisco and settled in South San Francisco for the last 47 years. Daughter of Frank and Annie Vitalie, Grace has been married to George Morton for 32 years. Grace was preceded in death by brothers John, Salvadore and Edward. Grace was a fun loving person who was one of a family of 11. The time Grace spent with her brothers and sisters was extraordinary and almost everything was done together. Grace is also survived by her three sons Edward Ungaretti and wife Wanda, Steven Ungaretti and wife Renette, James Batts and wife Jan (deceased) and companion Brenda. Grace enjoyed the love of all her grandchildren; whether it was baking cupcakes or playing games: Bryan Ungaretti, Rachelle Ungaretti, Ronda Smytzer, JJ Batts and wife Alicia, Jessica Batts Yocum and husband Kelly wanted to spend more time with their Grandma Grace. Three great-grandchildren Alex, Morgan and Christian also were part of Grace's life. Grace also leaves behind four brothers: Joe, George and wife Tilly, Frank and Robert wife Lena and two sisters Lillian Kelly and Margaret Sheperd. Numerous nieces and nephews also had the privilege to know Grace and helped complete her family tree. Services will be private. Garden Chapel Funeral Directors (650) 583-2510

I remember Gracie as eternally young. She always looked terriffic. I haveb't seen her in a long time, but that is the memory that I have of her. A lot of fun.
