Gwendolyn Jean Daly

Surrounded by the love of her husband Andrew, daughter Grace and family who absolutely adored her, our beloved Gwendolyn left this world on October 19, 2016 after a valiant fight in the ICU. She was born on October 17, 1963 in Biloxi, Ms. Gwendolyn was the daughter of Bonnie and Jon Baker. Gwendolyn spent her youth in San Mateo, CA and graduated from Aragon High School. She went on to the College of San Mateo. She has spent her life in magnificent fashion initially as an executive helping people find work and eventually dedicated her life to raising her daughter Grace. Gwendolyn's tireless capacity for charity included working as a Eucharistic minister, child advocate, a member of the Lucille Packard Hospital Board, and a board member of San Bruno Chamber of Commerce.
Gwen will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, open-heartedness, and wonderful sense of humor. She had a keen mind and was an avid reader. She was an incredible friend, mother, and wife. Gwen was a terrific aunt and her nieces and nephew remember her for the unconditional love she bestowed on them. Gwen adored her dog Daisy who brought her incredible joy and companionship. She lived every day to the fullest and valued family above all else.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1600 Santa Lucia, San Bruno, CA. We cherish a lifetime of memories and will hold her in our hearts forever.

She is survived by her husband Andrew Daly, her Daughter Grace Daly, Mother Bonnie Johnson, Father Robert Johnson, Brothers Christopher Baker wife Mollie Rae, and Jeffrey Johnson wife Jennifer, Nephew Chase Baker, Nieces Haylie Rose Baker, Katie Johnson, Samantha Johnson, and Sierra Johnson.
