To the family of Hannah Watts: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Watts. Not only were we neighbors in Friendship Village, our kids became very close friends.

During my tenure at the SF Redevelopment Agency, I would occassionaly run into Mrs. Watts as she made her rounds working with the Seniors. I am grateful that we knew each other. Peace to the family.

I want to give my deepest condolences to the Watts family on their loss. I grew up knowing Mrs. Watts from the age of 5, and becoming a close family friend from then on. I was always welcomed with a warm smile every time I would go to the house to hang out with one of her sons. I want everyone to know that before she served the Western Addition, she was a great mother to all of us kids in the Friendship Village Apartments.

Mrs. Watts, Rest knowing you set us all on the right path, and you will be missed.
