Cousin Al Clover befriended my husband and me after my parents died 5 years ago He was very helpful with family history and we enjoyed talking long hours and exchanging snail mail letters. We met twice in person. I`m sorry to hear of his passing--just found out today on internet. Phyllis Wilkendorf Holmes

I remember Dr. Clover as spending his life contributing to the education and well being of the young in the community and with church and the scouts. I remember his patience, gentle approach and ability to listen. He loved to tell a great story. I always felt safe and comfortable with him and his family. My condolences to the family.

Mr. Clover was a wonderful man & teacher, I remember him being kind & musical and thoughtful. I also clearly remember him mentioning more than once his Army days at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. Also...I vividly recall the 3 wheeled mail scooter he drove back in the 70's, all the kids thought that was so cool. Mr. Clover is a peace in heaven no doubt at all, he's likely scootering around and at peace doing it.

To John & family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Al was a true gentle man and well respected. After Al retired from teaching, he worked with me at my print shop in Burlingame part time. He became my right hand man
who could get things done in my absense.
I will miss his annual letters.
I know he is at Gods side helping in many ways.
