Helen Martin

Helen Marie Martin Age 54, died tragically in a terrible accident on Friday, January 20th, 2012. Helen was a smart, beautiful, fun, kind, generous, and deeply loving person. Born in Riverside, California, she settled in San Francisco, her favorite city in the world, in 1979. Helen was a family nurse practitioner and particularly enjoyed working with underserved populations. Helen was an avid reader, an adventurous traveler, and enthusiastic theatre and opera goer. During her last big trip in November 2011 she had a wonderful time hiking and visiting dzongs and monasteries and temples in Bhutan. She is survived by her loving husband Seth Ammerman of San Francisco, her loving siblings Amy Martin (Michael) of Mesa AZ, Lisa Martin (Bucky)of Tempe, AZ, Tom Martin (Candy) of Nipoma, CA, and Kurt Martin (Marcia) of San Diego, CA, as well as numerous and loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends. She left this world a better place than it was when she was born into it, and her presence can never be replaced.
