Charles Dahlman you had a Super Wonderful grandfather. He was a great teacher and he was my favorite professor at the University of Texas. The very best to you and your family. Dr. Pruden is a person never to be forgotten.

A kind, loving person. I wish I could have spent more time with him while he was alive. I miss you, grandpa.

I was very happy to received a message reminding me of Dr. Pruden. He was such a wonderful person.
He did not stay at the University of Texas for long as I recall. But, neither did I as the US Army told me I had "won their lottery" and they invited me to visit beautiful Monterey, CA's Fort Ord as a to-be US Army Infantryman.
I am refreshed to learn that Dr. Pruden lived on the north side of San Francisco Bay. That is just wonderful. It is such a beautiful place and one that I always enjoy visiting. My older uncle was to depart for Pearl Harbor in a B-17 on 7 December 1941 from the US Army Air Field on the north side of San Francisco Bay just a few miles north of where Dr. Pruden apparently lived. Although my uncle was shot down exactly 60 days later and lost at sea I have special memories of where Dr. Pruden lived for so many years. And, so families are tied together in many unique ways sometimes.
Dr. Pruden was my most memorable first college professor in all the right ways. He had a fun spirit and an intellectual curiosity. I truly, truly enjoyed his Marketing classes and I took most of of those Marketing classes from him.
While he resided in Austin, he lived just a few blocks from Lake Austin in a rented house. So, just like his being around San Francisco Bay he seemed to have a love for water and a pretty place from long ago.
I miss him. I never thought in my old age I would be pursing a doctorate degree. But, a part of that is due to the enthusiasm of Dr. Henry O. Pruden.
I know your entire family, as do many others, miss him greatly. Blessings upon your family.
Very Sincerely,
Alan Teal, CPA, MBA, MS-IT, CISA

I have thought of Dr. Pruden many times over the years. However, I may have the wrong Henry O. Pruden. The Dr. Pruden that taught me at the University of Texas in Marketing had his PhD from Berkley and he had been in the Air Force in South Texas. The Dr. Pruden that I knew was a wonderful person. He left an impact on my life as I obtained the first of six degrees. He lived close to Lake Austin and in fact I took him water skiing once (after I had finished receiving my classes and grades from him.) He was a person that enjoyed his work and I enjoyed learning from him. I am sure that so many people, including myself, will miss him. Blessings to the family.

I am sorry to hear of Henry's passing. He was a true market student, teacher. He and I were both graduates of Stock Market Institute, the Richard D. Wyckoff school, spending years in the study of that subject.

Dear Sarah,
I joined Lucy last night for a supper and was sadden to hear you had lost Hank. I had a grand first Ashland trip with you and Hank looking forward to 2018. During one of our theatre walks Hank told me his story and I about my husband Tom. Such an easy new friend. I am also going to secure three copies of Three Skills of Top Trading for my grandsons.
May perpetual light shine upon his soul. Wishing you strength going forward. Sincerely, Salena
