Hermann Horn Obituary
One of twelve children of Ferdinand and Anna Horn, he immigrated in 1957 at the age of 19. Within two years he met the love of his life Judy Milla. They were married in San Francisco on July 30, 1960.
They raised three children, Karin (Richard), Edward (Mary), and Jennifer (Jeff). He is survived by his loving wife Judy, five siblings, his three children, their spouses, and eleven grandchildren.
Hermann was incredibly passionate about his family and friends. He was renowned for spending time with his loved ones, writing letters, and making numerous well-wishing phone calls daily.
He was a devoted parishioner of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Belmont – singing in the choir, throwing his annual Oktoberfest, and cultivating a beautiful church memorial garden.
Living life to the fullest, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and trips to his beloved cabin.
Services will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Belmont on Sautrday February 11, 2017:
Visitation at 9:30 AM, Rosary at 10:00 AM, and Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM.

Herman was my dads cousin and one of my favorites. I will always remember the generous man he was. He always had a happy wonderful disposition and was a very warm hearted soul. Always checking up on my father, Leonard Meiswinkel. They were very close. I am so surprised to hear of his passing and we will miss him tremendously. My condolences to his beautiful wife Judy and his children. My heart broke hearing of this news. A great man. Rest in peace Herman.
