Jack Valens Obituary

Jack Alexander Valens Died May 25, 2008 of cancer. Jack was born April 9, 1947, to Dr. and Mrs. John D. Valens in Los Angeles, CA. He is survived by his wife Debbie McGarry; mother, Elizabeth B. Valens, and sister, Victoria A. Valens. Jack graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1966 and was a U.S. Navy veteran of Vietnam. He befriended many at the Veteran's Hospital in San Francisco. The care and compassion he received there cannot be equaled. A special thanks goes to our Ida, for all she is. A private service will be held at Kelly's Cove in San Francisco where Jack spent "the happiest years" of his life. Jack, you are missed and wished the peace you fought so hard to find. We love you.
