Dear Cindy & Family,
I am so sorry i did not learn of Jim's passing until yesterday. I worked with Jim for many years and always thought very highly of him. He was a really nice person. Jim was soft spoken and kind to everyone and everyone enjoyed being around him. I am so sorry for your loss and I will always have him in my prayers and my heart. Douglas Saunders

It is with great sadness that I learned only yesterday of the passing of my dear friend and former colleague, Jim Gentile... Having worked with Jim as a fellow funeral director at Holy Angels, I can only say that there was no finer man, nor a finer, caring funeral director, than ever was or could be! Jim was a truly passionate family man, and one who always took care of his families in need as if they were his own.
Jimmy, you are now with the Angels, and may you share in God's love and light as you so deserve! It was my honor to have known you, and the world you left behind will never be the same without you, my friend!

To Cindy and Family,
Jim was very much a part of my professional life in the funeral industry so many years ago. As a co-worker for many years in the 1980's Jim always shared his experience, and his talent with us all. Jim was a leader and guide for us in those crazy days when we thought it could not be done. He proved that it could be done, and would be done with style.
I shall cherish the friendships of those days gone bye, and shall always remember that I am who I am today in part because of the professionals who cared about the work, the families and the industry, the individuals like Jim who made a difference for me, and so many others.
Thanks Jim

I'm saddened to hear of Jim Gentiles passing, although we've met only once while he was on vacation in Hawaii, his kindness and humor will be forever with me. I recall when my father passed away in 2013, Jim was one of the first friends to send condolences through Facebook. I will miss you my friend, you are now in the arms of God. Rest in Love. Nate

I am saddened to hear about Jim, we grew up together in Daly City, and attended Colma School. Jim, Pete Ratto and I attended many of the same classes in junior high, and managed a little mischief, all in good fun of course. As we grew older, like many of us do, we go our separate ways, but I do have many fond memories of Jim.
My condolences to Jim's family.
